In December, the Triumph team was ecstatic to ring in the holiday season with one of our incredible community partners, Binghampton Christian Academy! Not only did we get to throw a Christmas party with our adopted 1st grade class, but we luckily had the opportunity to co-host a special Christmas party with BCA’s residential students as well! We first had our party with the 1st graders, which is our third year to continue this cherished tradition. We spent an afternoon together in their classroom serving snacks, making holiday-themed games and crafts, while also teaching them financial literacy through money-focused worksheets.
A few days later, we returned to BCA to throw a Christmas party for some of their residential students. While we were there, we provided the students with dinner, dessert, and hot cocoa, which gave us a great chance to talk and learn more about their interests. Once dinner was over, we were delighted to present these students with Christmas gifts that were found on each of their gift wish-lists. Our Christmas party with BCA’s residential students was an incredible time for everyone involved, and we cannot wait to continue this new, annual tradition with them!
Hosting Christmas parties with students of Binghampton Christian Academy is one of our team’s favorite community traditions, because it always reminds us to focus on the true purpose of our holidays. We hope everyone had a blessed and relaxing holiday season, and we cannot wait until we see our BCA students again!
