The mission of the Triumph Community Development Foundation “TCDF” is to provide support to organizations that directly offer programs and opportunities for education and economic development. Our partnership with STREETS Ministries supports just that.
The programs at STREETS support education to youth by providing them the proper resources and spiritual foundation, consistent encouragement, and positive engagement with staff and mentors. Between the organization’s two facilities in Memphis, STREETS serves nearly 400 students per day.
As Shelby County Schools “SCS” students enter a new school year, classes have gone virtual. STREETS is determined to accommodate to its students’ needs. SCS generously distributed devices to students, but a great majority of them require assistance during virtual learning or need guidance in solving technical issues. STREETS has opened its doors as a “virtual hub,” a space that gives students a safe clean environment to focus on their virtual studies and receive meals normally arranged by Shelby County Schools. The TDCF grant ensures that STREETS’ virtual hub can provide essential technological tools and ample personal protective equipment for students and staff.
STREETS is a staple in the success and prosperity of Memphis youth. We are honored to continue our partnership and to be a part of its mission to improve the lives of young Memphians through education and faith.
