Triumph Bank Features Art From Carpenter Art Garden in Germantown

In continuing Triumph Bank’s community partnerships within the Binghampton neighborhood, we are happy to announce that this week we are now featuring art from the students of the Carpenter Art Garden at our new office in Germantown at 7550 West Farmington across from Saddlecreek. Our first featured artist is Donte Davis. Donte is the artist who created the idea of the “Grizz hearts” that many Memphians showcase in the yards now in support of our Memphis Grizzlies.

The Carpenter Art Garden, located at 301 Carpenter Street in Binghampton, partners with neighborhood children and adults, as well as local artists to transform a blighted lot into a place of beauty. Each Tuesday, volunteers work with approximately 70 children on permanent art installations, take home art and the tending of the garden boxes. The space is an actual garden of artwork. Please stop by our Germantown office and see Donte’s work in person. His piece is for sale and we’ll continue to feature more students’ work in coming weeks.
