Last week, the Triumph Community Development Foundation was pleased to provide our community partner, Advance Memphis, with two grants to support their mission of promoting employment, financial stability and economic development in the South Memphis community.
One grant was presented to support their Art for Jobs fundraiser, marking Triumph’s third straight year to serve as a top sponsor for this event. This year’s Art for Jobs will be September 28th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Advance Memphis’ warehouse at 575 Suzette Street. Featuring local Memphis area artists, the event brings in hundreds of guests to experience this art show and purchase art, making it their largest annual fundraiser. Our other grant will be used to sponsor one of their cornerstone programs, Faith & Finances. Faith & Finances is a 12-week evening course empowering participants to take control of their finances, ranging from lessons on how to track income and expenses, develop a budget, prepare for emergencies, avoid debt, and more.
Triumph is proud to continue growing our partnership with the great team at Advance Memphis as they make such a positive impact in the city of Memphis!
