Here at Triumph, we talk growth. Even more so, we act to propel growth in our communities through our Triumph Community Development Foundation (TCDF) aims to support organizations that enhance education, financial literacy, and economic development. The Branch of Nashville’s mission to help families “walk out of poverty and into self-sufficiency” struck a chord, first, in the hearts of our Nashville teammates, who have through food drives and volunteer hours. Now, we are proud to announce that TCDF will officially partner with The Branch.
The Branch of Nashville recognized a need in its community to not only eradicate hunger but to guide immigrant families as they immerse themselves into American culture. The Branch of Nashville mainly operates as a food pantry and supplies an average of 440 families with food. In addition, they help nearly 300 individuals navigate the English language. The organization offers 6 levels of instruction throughout the day and night, catering to various English comprehension levels and job schedules. The Branch of Nashville established the connection between fluency and self-sufficiency. Once the students grasp a better understanding of the English language, students are more likely to pull themselves and their families out of poverty due to higher-paying job opportunities. The TCDF grant provides scholarship money for adult English learners in the pre-literacy program, which allows adult students to grasp basic reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary and grammar skills. We are honored to assist The Branch of Nashville and bolster its mission to uplift its community in comfort, education, and self-sufficiency.
