Earlier this week, Triumph Bank was presented with an award in recognition of its support of Make-A-Wish’s large annual fundraiser, “Wine for Wishes.” With Triumph’s help, over $50,000 was raised for Make-A-Wish of the Mid-South. Additionally, Catherine Duncan, Assistant Vice President and Human Resources Officer, raised nearly $10,000 on her own by reaching out to her friends and family.
As a member of the Associate Board for Make-A-Wish, Catherine plays an integral role in planning fundraising events. In addition to helping coordinate “Wine for Wishes,” she also helped get the entire Triumph team involved in holiday fundraising during “Season of Wishes” in which team members solicited donations at the Shops of Saddle Creek. Seeing as that the average cost to grant a wish is approximately $8,000, we at Triumph are extremely proud of the contributions and efforts our team members have made to improve the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses.
