Will Chase is the President, Chief Executive Officer and Founding Board Member of Triumph Bank. He brings with him 36 years of commercial and retail banking experience in the Greater Memphis area. Will’s focus on building relationships within the community is evident through his many contributions in the business, civic and education arenas. He is a member of the American Bankers Association’s Community Bankers Council and a past Board member of the Tennessee Bankers Association. Will is a member of the Economic Club of Memphis and a Board member and Vice President of Chickasaw Country Club. He also serves at Concord Academy, a school for special needs students, where is a past Board member and Chairman of the
Board of Trustees.


Will received a B.A. in History and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and also attended University College of Oxford University in Oxford, England. Will is also a graduate of the National Commercial Lending School of American Bankers Association.

Will and his wife of 30 years, Mary Ellen, have a son, John, and daughter, Mary Catherine. They attend Independent Presbyterian Church where Will serves as an Elder.

Michael J. McCarver is Executive Vice President and COO of Triumph Bank. He has over 36 years in financial services with a primary focus on starting and managing bank operations. In addition to earning his MBA, Mike is a graduate of the BIA School of Banking in Bank Operations and Administration. His experience and management expertise have been instrumental to Triumph’s success since
its founding.

Edward J. Gentry is the Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Triumph. Mr. Gentry joined the team in February 2008 and has over 25 years of financial, banking and management experience.

Ed is professionally credit trained and a graduate of the Southeastern School of Advanced Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt University. Mr. Gentry has both an MBA and a Bachelors of Science and Commerce from Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ.


Mr. Gentry’s past and present community activities include Treasurer of the Central Board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis, Inc., United Way of the Mid-South (Shelby County Allocation & Certification Committees), and Leadership Memphis Class of 2007. Ed also currently serves as President, Treasurer & Board Member of Ridgeway Country Club. He also supports Memphis Regional Blood Center, Inc. (Chairman of the Year 1999) and University of Memphis’ Department of Economics, having served as adjunct Professor teaching Money & Banking.

Ed and his wife, Kim, live in Germantown.
